Internet Based Credit Card Processing for Small Businesses

How does the CCTerminal program work? Your business will accept credit cards from your customers in a manner appropriate for your type of business. This can either be via the Internet, over the phone, through the mail, or face-to-face using a manual imprinter (aka knucklebuster) while out in the field. In those cases where you are selling a product or providing a service on the spot you are able to utilize the voice authorization center from your merchant processor to be sure that the card you accepted is valid and has enough credit limit for your sale. You will then go to your computer and bring up the CCTerminal screen where you will manually key in all of the relevant credit card data including customer account number, expiration date, and dollar amount of the transaction. You will also have the ability to perform Address Verification (AVS) by inputting the customer’s street address and zip code as well as the 3 digit security code from the back of the card. Transactions are processed in real-time via the Internet in a matter of seconds and batches are settled automatically every day. It couldn’t be simpler! How much will this cost me?

You can even attach a portable mag-stripe reader, encrypted PINpad for online debit, and a portable thermal receipt printer and you are set to process swiped sales just like you had a retail store.
